Refund Policy

When you get your money back, how to ask for it, and what the law says you can demand on top.

The short version

1. The 30-day money-back guarantee

First-time direct purchases of any Peak State Apps product (currently: NetGlobe Pro) are covered by a 30-day money-back guarantee. If the product doesn't work for you, for any reason, email peakstate.apps@gmail.com within 30 days of your purchase and we'll issue a full refund. No questions asked.

This is a voluntary commitment on top of whatever statutory rights you have under your local consumer law. It applies regardless of whether you waived your statutory right of withdrawal at checkout (see §3 below).

2. How to request a refund

Email peakstate.apps@gmail.com with:

We process within 2 business days. Lemonsqueezy reverses the charge on its end and your bank usually credits the original card within 5–10 business days. The license is deactivated at the same time; the extension reverts to the free tier on its next weekly check, or sooner if you click "Remove license" in the license drawer.

3. Statutory right of withdrawal (EU consumers)

If you are a consumer (Verbraucher within the meaning of § 13 BGB) habitually resident in the EU, the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a digital-content purchase within 14 days from the day the contract is concluded, without giving any reason.

When this right lapses. Under § 356 (5) BGB and Art. 16(m) of EU Directive 2011/83/EU, the right of withdrawal lapses prematurely for digital content not delivered on a tangible medium if both (a) we have begun delivery with your express prior consent, and (b) you have acknowledged that, by giving this consent, you lose the right of withdrawal once delivery has begun. At the Lemonsqueezy checkout you may be asked to tick a box stating:

"I expressly consent to immediate delivery of the digital content and I acknowledge that, by giving this consent, I lose my right of withdrawal under § 312 g (2) no. 13 BGB once delivery has begun."

Ticking that box and completing the purchase means the statutory 14-day right lapses immediately upon delivery of your license key. The voluntary 30-day money-back guarantee in §1 is unaffected.

If you do not tick the consent box, the statutory 14-day right applies in full. To exercise it, email peakstate.apps@gmail.com within 14 days of the purchase date with an unambiguous statement of withdrawal — for example, "I withdraw from my contract for the supply of [product]". You may also use the model form in §4.

Effects of withdrawal

Upon valid withdrawal, we reimburse all payments received from you (via Lemonsqueezy) without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days after receiving your withdrawal notice, using the same payment method as the original transaction. You don't incur any fees for the reimbursement. Your license key is invalidated; the extension reverts to the free tier on its next weekly re-validation.

4. Model withdrawal form (Muster-Widerrufsformular)

If you choose to withdraw, you may use this form. You are not required to.

5. Subscription cancellations

Cancelling a monthly subscription is not the same as requesting a refund. Cancellation stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for. You can cancel:

We don't pro-rate refunds for partially-used months. If you also want a refund of the current period, the 30-day guarantee in §1 applies to first-time purchases within 30 days of the original transaction.

6. App store purchases

CardGate is sold through Google Play (Android) and the Apple App Store (iOS). For purchases made through these stores — including any subscriptions and the one-off pay-as-you-go AI credit packs — refunds are handled by the store itself, because the store is the merchant of record. We can't process those refunds directly.

If a store declines a refund for a CardGate purchase and you believe the decision is wrong, email us anyway and we'll try to mediate. We can't override the store's decision, but we have lines of communication to platform support that customers don't always.

Statutory rights of withdrawal for app store purchases are exercised against the store (the merchant of record), not against us. The stores' own withdrawal processes generally match or exceed the 14-day EU minimum.

7. Repeat purchases

Subsequent purchases after a previous refund on the same email are at our discretion. We're not running a free-trial program through serial refunds — but a one-time genuine refund is always honoured, and a second purchase that genuinely tries again is too.

If we detect a pattern of repeated purchase-and-refund using the same email, payment method, or activation UUIDs, we reserve the right to decline future refunds for the affected user and to block future direct purchases. We don't apply this casually.

8. Refund processing

Direct purchases (NetGlobe Pro) are processed through Lemonsqueezy as our merchant of record. When we approve a refund, Lemonsqueezy reverses the original charge to your original payment method. Typical timing:

Refunds are made in the same currency as the original charge. We don't charge fees for refunds. Currency-conversion losses imposed by your bank are outside our control and aren't reimbursed.

9. Statutory rights unaffected

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any mandatory consumer-protection right you may have under the law of your habitual residence. Where this policy is more generous than statutory law (e.g. the 30-day guarantee versus the 14-day statutory minimum, or no-questions-asked versus the narrower set of statutory cases), the more generous terms apply.

10. Contact

Refund requests, cancellation help, anything else: peakstate.apps@gmail.com. The same person who builds the products reads the inbox; replies usually come within a couple of business days.

Full operator details (legal name, address) are in the Imprint.
